Have you ever studied the painter's palette? How to tell a story with color alone? How a hue might tell a story otherwise inarticulate? Help express that feeling you thought could not be shown? Have you seen a crimson red full of anger, Hinting at evil, blood, or even danger? Or perhaps a brighter shade? One of passion and strength? Perhaps a green that symbolizes healing? Or is it thoughts of nature and balance you're feeling? What about a blue that represents honesty? Or could that be tradition and authority? And the softest pink for femininity, Could also represent nurturing, youth, and sensitivity. Is that deepest purple the color of depression? Perhaps instead, it could be a regal expression. I know not how to paint a masterpiece Art does not come natural to me But I know the value of beauty and peace And can at least say what the colors mean to me. Ferrun | |
